Absolutely horrible experience. Invited friends from Toronto for long awaited get together. Reservations made 3 weeks ago and when we arrived we were told there was a large group of college students coming in and it would be noisy. Would have appreciated a call back so we could have made ... other plans. Was impossible to have a conversation while the group was there. Waiter acted like he didn’t want to be there and made a few very inappropriate comments....my friend asked if they have a larger glass of wine and he said ‘no that’s all most people need with a meal’. When another asked for sweet potato fries with her salad he said ‘no I don’t want to over tax the kitchen with such a large group here’ !!! I did take exception to that and she got her fries. The two waiters were shouting across the dining room at each other and seemed incapable of coping with the dining room. They told others coming for lunch they were closed due to a private party. Very nice location especially in the summer with a cozy, inviting decor. Food was good with a nice presentation. However service is lacking and not knowledgeable. When asked for something vegan the server suggested non vegan items and then said he can't do anything for me! With so many food ... allergies and intolerances a good server should be much more accommodating and knowledgeable. Read more

While I like the location, I was disappointed with the food overall. I have never paid $22.- for an appetizer which was 3 rice balls with bland marinara sauce. Mussels in sauce was too salty. George was fun and attentive but a restaurant is successful because of ... good food and no amount of cheeky, gregarious waiter takes the sting out of the bill. Read more

I've been wanting to try this place out for awhile now. Finally had a kid free night last night, so my wife and I decided to try it out. Very clean and really nice inside. Was seated right away, even without a reservation and our waiter was quick to see ... us. Drinks and apps came quick, although my wine glass was very dirty and needed a new one, bruschetta was basic, but good. After that our service slowed down. Waiter never came to see how meal was, sat for awhile after meal with dishes in front of us, waiting to be cleared. All in all, service is slow, food is good, atmosphere is good, portions are okay, but for what your paying (a little pricey) you should get more. Read more
