I love this place. The salmon and tuna rolls are like sashimi rolls. Delicious chopped fish unlike so many places where the fish is kind of mashed. The sauce on the spicey rolls is so good. Love love love

Best sushi in Chilliwack. I tried 8 or more sushi restaurants when I moved to Chilliwack. Hoping I could find something close to a couple places I loved in delta and Surrey. Sushi Yama is it. Quality surpasses the competitors in this town. The Crispy scallop roll is really good. ... Nice fresh ingredients. It’s a ma and pa restaurant, husband and wife. They get busy and sometimes don’t have time to answer the phone for an order. In restaurant service is always fantastic. They are busy though because the wife cooks and waits on customers. Food was fresh and delicious. We loved the lunch box with chicken teriyaki. The tempura was fantastic. Great service! We'll be going again. 👍

Good value for the quality and quantity. Delicious tasting fresh sushi. Large rolls will fill you up! Small restaurant with fair prices. Agedashi tofu was crispy and soft, so perfect! Service is a bit slow, try to call ahead of time for orders.
