I am so shocked to read Alii Johnson's review and want to clarify the truth. The owner are the best ever employer you can have and never want to hurt anybody as all our customers and employees can see and feel. I work when Ally applied and i know how she ... was fully paid for her training and suddenly she didnt come for training, every few days of work she got sick needs days off so the owner decided to find another baker. Eventhough we have a very good relationship with Benanna, we are totally independent and we have different products. Of course our products are really fresh, please come and try yourself. Allie jhonson when you are unprofessional and dont show up for your shifts failing to tell your bosses your not coming in because you are sick they will assume that you aren't serious about your job an they wont give you more shifts when you are costing their buisness i ... am a current employee of a couple weeks, im here every day on time the owners are very kind hearted an i fully enjoy waking up early in the morning for my work, they do not freeze all their products expecially not batter? Do not APPLY here. I got hired, got 2 weeks of shifts, then nothing... only to find out thry replaced me w anthr baker.. THEN they dont even have to decensy to fire me, they sent me a T4 form in the mail and made me connect the darn dots! ... Screwed me over for christmas! Ridiculously rude and unhonorable. Plus they freeze/and or refrigerate their products and batter. SO NOT FRESH. Most pastries, and all breads are from their Sister baker bakery BenAnna. Having come from the UK the Vedder Mountain Bakery is the best bakery we have found since coming to Canada. You will not be disappointed in any of the breads and cakes they have to offer, and the service excellent. Thank You Desmalia for bringing your skills to this area.

What an amazing experience and incredibly tasty products! The owners were so gracious and extremely friendly - made us feel welcome like family! We came in to purchase the coconut cream tart and the banana eclair (which are perfect), and left with those...plus a loaf of fresh grain ... bread, a sausage cheese roll and large samples of their rye and sourdough bread - which were delicious and light and airy!! Their prices are more than reasonable and they only use the freshest and healthiest ingredients. We tried a sample of their danish (all that they had left) - but because those sell out quite quickly, I would suggest a morning visit if you are hoping to try some. I can't wait to go back again!
