Yale Sushi - Chilliwack, British Columbia

Had the absolutely best Japanese lunch I've ever had at Yale Sushi, been there (and MANY other sushi restaurants) many times before, but today was perfection: all my favorites were 10/10: crab sunumono, gomae, prawns tempura, chopped scallop roll with extra mayo & sesame seeds, nigiri toro tuna, unagi, tamago ... (1" egg slice was thicker than the rice!!), even the green tea came steeped & ready to drink! WOW. Was there just before noon, all food was ready & on the table as it came up in less than 10 minutes! This Japanese restaurant truly impressed me with its takeout quality. Despite being takeout, the food remained fresh and flavorful. The salmon sushi, in particular, was exquisite—delicate and delicious, showcasing the freshness of the ingredients in every bite. However, the sauce was a bit too much, slightly overshadowing the natural sweetness ... of the salmon. Nevertheless, the portions were generous and very satisfying. The packaging was also thoughtfully done, ensuring that the food arrived intact and as delicious as intended. Super friendly. Food was very good... my hubby says the best Teriyaki he's had at a sushi place. We had small children with us and the cups had lids & straws so no spills! Very smart! Can't wait to go again.

One of the best Sushi places in town. Great prices and very fresh tasting seafood. The Tenpura was crispy and delicious. The Dynamite Roll was huge and tasty! The BBQ Eel roll is equally as yummy and I tried my wife's Alaskan Roll and had to have more. We took ... it to go and this is how we got it. It was perfect. We’re looking for restaurant to treat our clinical instructor for our last day but because most of them opens late afternoon we decided to take our lunch here and we’re not disappointed. The place is cozy and the inside is clean. The food’s not too expensive and the serving’s big ... and well presented. I don’t live in Chilliwack but if you had the chance to and are looking for a sushi or roll to eat, you must try this one. Food’s tasty but not too much to the point that you can’t have it anymore.
