Younie’s Restaurant - Chilliwack, British Columbia

When we lived in chilliwack my husband and I would come here on our own in our 20s and 30s. We would bring friends and then family as the years went by. Even after we moved, when we came to visit chilliwack, we would still go here ... to eat. Why? First time having lunch in this restaurant. I was impress with their service. Lot of regular customers due to their service . Based on three different customers came in with different servers they knew what the customers want and their beverages. That is old style service. Very impress. ... Nothing fancy order. Came in for lunch with my 18 month old who had a bit of a melt down. I did apologize to the waiter that was dealing with us, and I got the comment well at least it isn't to busy in here right now. Definitely not a comment I would ... have made to a struggling mom. The food was delicious and came out super fast. The waiter was wonderful and friendly, just didn't like the comment once we left. Excellent home-style food, friendly staff. Hamburgers are amongst the best we've had, and the turkey rice soup is always delicious. We've tried many items from the menu, and all have been good.

This is a good family restaurant with good food and good service. Vaccine passport protocol is checked closely and disinfectant available. The food was good but a little slow in coming, although it may be due to a staff shortage like a lot of places. Well worth the drive to get ... there for good food at an economical price. Read more
