McDonald’s - Cambridge, Ontario

This is a small location but superb. The staff is friendly and helpful. They show patience and respect to an older person like myself. The food is fresh(as McDonald's can be) plus made to my specifications. I can order from the app, which gives me points to use at a later ... date. The service is fast & efficient. Plus there usually isn't a lineup, as the store doesn't seem to get busy. One of my favourite McD's locations. BTW, they offer delivery. Plus there is outdoor seating, curb service and a drive through as per standard McDonald's service. I recommend this location especially for the staff. I don't frequent McDonald's very often but tonight I needed something "quick" and easy after hockey. I waited just shy of 20 minutes for 1 Jr chicken and medium fries at 1230 am on a Thursday. I asked for Mac sauce on the side and pickles on the sandwich. I open ... the bag and there is the sadest portion cup of Mac sauce that I have ever seen, I paid $.50 for about an 8th of an oz, so I went inside and asked for some Mac sauce because the cup was basically empty. I was then told by 3 employees, "That's all you get for $.50, 1 squirt" I ask if they were serious and they all confirmed "ya sorry" what an absolute joke, and left. I dipped 12 fries in my sad Mac sauce and grabbed my Jr chicken, no pickles... worst 9 bucks I've spent in a long time, this is the last time I ever go to a McDonald's. Read more

I visited this location last night with the intention of savoring their recently introduced herb & garlic fries before they disappeared from the menu. Priced at almost $5, the serving included only a limited quantity of fries. It was like ordering the kids menu.

This is THE WORST McDonald's I have ever been in, hands down!! I travel a lot and have been in many of their restaurants. They are very slow. The staff are clearly miserable and don't want to be there!! I ordered a junior cheese burger. The patty was hardly in ... the bun, I got ONE tiny pickle, and the cheese was half out the side. We ordered hot chocolate drinks. My daughters was 2/3 full. We paid quite a bit more money for Whipped cream and it was, as I said, 2/3 full. We have ordered Hot Chocolate here a few times. Each time, it was the same. Once it was even cold. I ordered a Decaf coffee one night and it was stone cold. They were visibly angry that they had to brew a new pot!! The service is horrible!! There is a huge charge for anything "extra". This is just a horrible and incompetent McDonald's!! Very poorly run!! Hire some happy people and quit ripping people off for a few extra pickles!! Moved here recently. Have never experienced such a slow McDonalds. Almost always waiting for 20-30 mins in the drive thru. Also, I usually asked for extra bacon with my breakfast and pay an additional $1.79. The reason I am leaving this review is because consistently I am charged for extra ... bacon and this is what I get. Read more
