As soon as we walked into the restaurant, we were told we only have 40 minutes until the restaurant closes. They asked if we want to take out. We felt rush and that was an inconvenience to them as they tried to close up early, and no customers were dining ... at the time. We asked for Jasmine tea and were given green tea. We mentioned we wanted Jasmine, but the waitress didn't offer to make the switch. The food portion was small for the price we paid. The noodle soup had minimal ingredients. My husband left the restaurant still feeling hungry. Overall, we had a lousy experience, not a pleasant atmosphere and terrible customer service. It was our first and last time at this restaurant. I typically don’t give one to a restaurant but this one deserves it. Four salad rolls for 12.5 dollars and you give this to the customer? With a peanut sauce that tastes awful? And that is your salt and pepper tofu? There is no tofu there just some fried carbohydrates. This is ... by far the worst Vietnamese restaurant I have ever stepped into. Read more

A family run business. Very old school, price is reasonable and the pho is quite standard. The interior decor is probably 20 years old but that implies the place serves good food. Staff speaks fluent English and wears masks.

Yummy! I ordered the Satay Beef Pho and specifically requested the Peanut Broth as I have no allergies. The satay beef noodle soup was one of the best I’ve had!! I’ve tried so many Vietnamese restaurants in Calgary and Kim Lan is one of my new favourites! I also had ... the satay beef sub and it was pretty good—it was larger than I expected. The owners are very pleasant and super nice. I strolled in after the gym but they just closed and they still took my order to go anyways. The portions were worth the price and fair.
