My tea expert father in law was very impressed. Oolong was delicious. Smelled amazing inside and fun tea accessories to look at.

The staff was very knowledgeable and patient with helping me find a tea I'd like. The tea itself is called goddess of mercy and is my new favorite. I can't wait to go back and explore what else their selection might have in store for me.

The shop is interesting and the people were friendly enough. However, this is truly the most lacklustre tea I’ve ever tasted. Tried 2 earl grey and an Irish Breakfast. They have next to zero flavour. I’m not sure if it’s stale or this is the quality of their product but I ... can barely tell them apart. After trying them out on a few friends/family members, we tossed them all out. Such an amazing tea shop, the staff are well versed in the teas they have. If you mention something you like, they will help you find something based on that- we were just talking about Marzipan and the Almond Rooibos is it’s liquid twin. So glad I accidentally stumbled upon this hidden gem! The aroma that fills yours nostrils as you walk up the flight of stairs is only a teaser of whats to come when you enter The Tea Trader. From all the wonderful tea pots, tea tins, tea accessories - I was ... like a kid in a candy store! I was really impressed by the many different types of teas they carry from China, Kenya, Neapl, etc. I also loved the wooden crate boxes used as decor. The owner is such a nice man and helped me picked out some delicious and unique teas. As I don't live in town- I was so happy to find out they ship!! Read more
