I ordered from The Naked Leaf online--I'm a few provinces over. One item wasn't available and they emailed me to confirm that was okay. I replied but forgot to hit "send." So they called. Undeniably a great place to start as a new tea drinker. Great options for tea and teapots in side with very knowledgeable staff. Genuinely appreciated the service. Left quite quickly and uncomfortably after reading this sign though. “No Chinese knock offs” for their Japanese tea pots. Extremely unnecessary and rude to a ... whole culture that tea originated from. I went to the Japanese lifestyle store around the corner in Kensington instead since they sold the same “not Chinese knock off” teapots for $20 less. Read more

OMG, this is a tea lover's HEAVEN! He has so many varieties of green, black, white, and herbal tea. I had such a hard time deciding what to buy. Plus, his teacups and teapots are gorgeous. Cool & interesting selection that is all neatly organized. Owner obviously takes care to be knowledgeable about the merchandise, and supports local Calgary artists through his business. However he randomly yelled 'arigato' as we were leaving the shop — for context we are Korean (it didn't come up in conversation at ... the time, and he never put in the effort to ask) — likely assuming we were Japanese.
