Midori Japanese Cafe - Calgary, Alberta

One of my favorite places to eat in Calgary! Fantastic service every time, delicious food every time, and I leave happy every time! It's a small and cute cafe ran by really lovely people. Definitely try to dine in! 🍣

Is this a joke? I asked for no volcano sauce and they put volcano sauce all over it and put SO many tempura crumbs on it thinking I won’t notice. Disgusting. If you make a mistake just fix it. Great little sushi restaurant. It has a very relaxed and cozy atmosphere, good place for a quiet date or just eat with the family. It has some of the best sushi rolls in Calgary; the fish is so fresh and soft and does taste too fishy and the rice ... is perfect. I want to come back and try all there rolls. Read more

It is hard to find a better sushi place in Calgary than Midori. You can really tell there is passion and care from everyone involved for their craft; they are a must try for anyone who lives in or is visiting Calgary. As the name suggests they are a quaint Japanese-styled ... sushi restaurant that works hard to present items in an elegant fashion. Their selection is truly diverse and refined, and of the many times I’ve been there, all of their menu items have never disappointed. The sushi was all outstandingly fresh and delicious. Their in-house special salad was crisp, clean, and refreshing, and quickly became one of my favorite food items. It is also made completely gluten free.
