We dined at Vintage Chophouse & Tavern on a Sunday night around 6:30 PM. Although we booked a reservation, it turned out to be unnecessary. We were seated in the lounge area on nice, comfy sofas, and the three of us were able to sit around a round table comfortably. Our ... server was incredibly friendly and attentive, frequently checking up on us to ensure everything was perfect. We started with some delightful cocktails—I had a delicious apple cinnamon drink—and a nice Merlot wine. The appetizer we ordered was a duck dish on pastry with cranberries, and it was absolutely delicious. I’m still dreaming about it. For our main course, my fiancé and I shared a medium-rare porterhouse steak, while my cousin opted for the prime rib, which looked equally fantastic. Both steaks were cooked to perfection, and I would definitely order the same again on a return visit. The sides were just as impressive. The Brussels sprouts were sweet and deep-fried, and absolutely to die for. We also had broccolini and macaroni and cheese with lobster, both of which were delicious. The ambiance was that of a classic steakhouse, with dim lighting and a dark color palette, making for a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Overall, we had a great time—the food was filling, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a great steak downtown. Read more
