We're new to the area and I didn't have high expectations as reviews from friends have been hit or miss. We loved it. We tried the fries, the motha clucker, 4 piece, coleslaw, fries and gravy. It was very satisfying. I'm not sure the flavor of the chicken would ... appeal to everyone -it is different than all the chicken places out there, which is great because it's what sets it apart, and makes a good alternative. The coleslaw wasn't all watery or chopped up like most fast food places. The chicken had the perfect cook, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The fries were good and just a tad on the salty side. The sandwich was decent (I'm not a sandwich person but it was solid). The gravy was very good, unique. Honestly if I were to go out to a good restaurant that happened to serve fried chicken or a sandwich, this is exactly what I would expect. I also love that the chicken is humane. The best place for chicken in the city. I go for the chicken sandwich (“the mother clucker”) and it always delivers. Highly recommend for a bite to eat or take out, as there isn’t much seating indoors.

Cluck N Cleaver has the best fried chicken sandwich in Calgary. The Mother Clucker is the Perfect amount of spicy and savory. I ordered the 4-piece set online for pick up at noon. The taste of the fry chicken is good. But it is very dry like it has been staying on the shelf for hours. The chicken is cold to the touch as well. It is as dry as the fry ... chicken in supermarket but for double the cost. I was excited because of all the good reviews here.
