A nice but cramped Korean restaurant with great and friendly service! This is located in downtown Calgary and has a few small levels where you can dine in and have some tasty Korean dishes. The menu is full of your usual Korean dishes and drinks, and they taste great! Gamjatang ... and cold noodles that we ordered were made perfectly. Staff are extra friendly and they even gave me and my friend two mocktails on the house! That was a nice surprise which elevated our dining experience that night. The interior of the restaurant is a little humid and cramped in my opinion, but not too bad. Pricing wise, the restaurant is about average with decent portions. Street parking is required. The best kimchi I've ever had!! Loved the service at Namsan, all staff were very helpful and kind. The mango and guava mocktail was deliciously refreshing, and the assorted plate of sides had the best kimchi! The seafood pancake was perfectly crispy and had a great ratio of seafood and veggies. Definitely 100% recommend! The service was amazing! And here was the first Korean restaurant which suggested to add rice into the pan and the server actually made it for us! The portion of each meal was incredibly bigger than we think! We must come back!
