One of the best Vietnamese subs I've had - fresh, lots of filling, and just absolutely delicious. It's definitely a step up from any of the Pho restaurants I've visited, and you can tell the owners pride themselves on the quality of what they make. I order the beef Vietnamese spicy ... submarine, and the spice is actually relatively spicy (in the best way possible!). Small simple restaurant, a hidden gem. I've had their subs before and they're among my favourite in the city, but it's been a while so I can't give many details other than I like that they offer mixed meat variety subs. The menu is so simple and I love that ... because I love to try everything and often get stuck choosing and wondering. This is a simple express experience with quality in what they offer. I like that they already garnished my beef brisket satay. Often times I forget about my bean sprouts on the plate or pick at them as I est. They didn't overdo it either and added some other garnishing a like green onion. The spice was perfect and the broth tasted fresh. Sometimes I try other pho places with good flavour but that sweet taste of the pho for me is sometimes too much for me. Great little neighborhood place. Had the beef/chicken bun mi and the iced coffee. Both were fantastic. Asked for it spicy and it didn't disappoint. The service was very friendly. Highly recommend it.

I ordered the beef satay sub and my husband had the chicken satay sub. The beef was definitely spicier! Both were delicious, the buns were toasty on the outside, chewy on the inside. The owner came over and gave us a jug of chilled filter ice water - which was really ... kind, as they sell bottled water, too. They checked on us during the meal to make sure everything was delicious, and it was! Will eat here again! Read more
