I've visited this place twice now. It gets quite bustling during lunch hours, but they do accept reservations. If there's a wait, you can always pass the time in the mall for 15 minutes before your table is ready. As for the food, the Ramen here is exceptionally delicious. I've sampled ... both the vegan mushroom and Paitan (chicken + pork) varieties, and they've both been fantastic. When it comes to sushi, I'd suggest trying something from their oshi sushi menu. A good mix of Japanese food! Sushi portions are generous and very tasty. The tonkotsu ramen is okay but a little small for the price, and not super flavourful. The pork buns are delicious and savoury.
This restaurant is located in the mall, second floor on Stephen Ave. We came for happy hour. We got the steamed buns (9/10),calamari (7/10, the sauce wasn’t a good pairing in my opinion) and Tonkostsu Ramen. Overall, the food was good! I wouldn’t say it was amazing. The broth was ... pleasant but the overall taste was just decent. The Matcha Made in Heaven cocktail was delightful! Our food came out fast, the atmosphere was calm, & our server was friendly. My wife and I did date night last night and we made it there for happy hour. We ordered lots of their appetizers and their Ramen and everything was fantastic. Their food was very fresh and tasty. We both really enjoyed the tuna Tataki and the chicken teriyaki. Their sushi ... was very fresh and tasty. My Their sushi was very fresh and tasty. Warm and welcoming atmosphere, plus Happy Hour menu from 2-7pm! We had the Tonkotsu and Paitan ramen, plus the Dynamite Roll. Traditional tastes with little updates that made everything amazing. We would have gone a second night, but they are closed on the weekend.
