Vern’s Pizza - Calgary, Alberta

Pretty poor business practise to advertise your store hours and then not follow them, wasting peoples time…. Had a buddy recommend this place and gave me his menu. I was going after work on a Friday, I drove out of my way to get there. Arrived at 1140pm and it’s closed, ... no employees inside and all lights off. Pizza is awesome, but I won't eat there lasagna again. Showed up 15 minutes after I ordered it, sounds great till I opened it and it was barely warm. Cheese was kinda melted but it was definitely not cooked through and was room temperature in the center.

We ordered lasagnas this evening for dinner and they arrived after 20 minutes. They weren’t cooked through and still cold in the middle. We had to put them in our own oven for another 20 minutes. After we called to let them know they asked for pictures to prove it’s cold ... so I sent them a pic of them In the oven with the partially melted cheese. Been a while since, glad it was as good as I remember. A little on the expensive side but the toppings are piled high and cooked to perfection. Their pizza sauce is amazing. A great treat every once in a while. I recommend everyone give it a try.

Some coworkers from out of town recommend Vern's pizza. I had to try it and I was not disappointed. The classics thick pizza had so much meat. I ordered the T-Rex pizza and would order it again.
