Aggressively average. In the tacos and the drinks and the service. Something about that spicy mayo just doesn’t sit right with me. Fish tacos were the best ones.
Just visiting family in Calgary and find out this place! Love the food! Service! And HAPPY HOUR ~ our server was super helpful and friendly! Made our trip!
Food was decent but I have never had such bad service in my entire life. Server took our order, then we never saw her again. We spent 45 minutes without anybody checking up on us, no water, no plate clearing, no offering for refills, and we had to flag somebody ... down to ask for our bills. I’ve heard great things about this place but I have never been so disappointed with service until eating here. This was the first time I have ever not tipped a server. She ignored us for the entire service, gave attention to other tables, and stood talking to coworkers/polishing glassware instead of tending to her tables to create a good experience. Would never recommend anybody come here. If you wanna be forgotten about for an hour, this is the place to be! Photo was taken 50 minutes after food had arrived. Blanco on 17th is one of my favourite places to eat and drink with my friends! We always have a great time and the environment is very energetic and friendly ! The service is also great, Carolina is one of my favourite servers, she is attentive and provides excellent service ... to me and my friends! The food always comes really fast and it is delicious!! The music helps foster a fun environment along with the great staff this is easily one of the best restaurants on 17th! Read more

Went to this place with a buddy of mine. Right on 17th Ave SW, this place is really awesome. It's happy hours after 9pm, so went for half price tacos and drinks. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Happy hours is a no brainer, with top notch service.
