Uncle Moe’s Donairs & Falafels - Calgary, Alberta

I love going here. I always feel welcome, it feels like stepping in to my dad's kitchen and just asking what's for dinner and he tells me to sit down as he fixes me a plate. The food isn't fine dining, but it's solid and filling.

Went today for the first time and tried their Bison donair. i have to say the food was excellent. also, clean and tidy restaurant and most importantly the owner was really friendly. Will definitely come again.

Was a wonderful experience to try a local eatery. It has seating for dine in, friendly owner who like to make you feel welcome, and not just to say welcome lol. Would definitely go here from now on!

Decided to take on the Donair challenge and well what can I say I eat about half and said I am leaving full and comfortable. I honestly don't think I could finish this monster of a Donair. Weighs in at 1kg so you better be hungry and a ... fast eater. The service is great top notch the Donair meat I found not quite like I am used to back on the East coast not overly spicy and I am not sure if it is just prepared differently or what it is but all in great spot to grab a bite to eat. While I would agree it is not the best in the. World or even YYC, it is still tasty nonetheless. I tried the beef donair and falafel wrap They only take debit cards and cash. An excellent selections of beverages.
