Shawarma Station - Calgary, Alberta

I recently started working in the area and I've made it a mission to review a new restaurant every time I go out for lunch and unfortunately, Shawarma Station has left me disappointed. I ordered the large beef and chicken donair platter and it baffles me to think that this ... is considered large - you can literally see the bottom of the container where the rice has been placed. Portion size is ridiculous for the price. This is the “large” size WITH extra meat. $20. Ridiculous. Jerusalem Shawarma, Shawarma Knights, Shawarma King… even at Al Madina in a mall food court, this plate would be overflowing with rice, meat and salad. Never ordering from here again.

I think it’s pretty decent. Although the meat is a bit dry, the rice is very flavorful and well made. Obviously they know how to balance spices for a great taste. Meal is quite filling.

Tasty grilled meats surrounded by fresh vegetables wrapped in a toasty pita. The addition of aromatic spices sends your senses on a trip outside your self isolation. Tried this place based on a friend's recommendation. Service was quick and food is fresh. Great value for money. I was really impressed with the thin pita shell, makes your food light and enjoyable! They have some seating area inside the store. It is now, one of our favorite ... shawarma places in addition to Little Lebanon! Read more
