I recently hosted an event at my home and chose pita basket to cater and I cannot say enough good things about the owners. They were incredibly helpful every step of the way, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and was perfectly made and set up. The food was amazing and ... all my guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was. Their warmth, attentiveness, and dedication made the event truly special. Our 1st visit to Pita Basket was a 10/10. That took a turn today. The lady at the counter was overwhelmed and honestly borderline rude. She left us mid way while ordering to go deal with something without excusing herself. Then while serving I thanked her twice and not only did ... she not respond you can see that we were a burden rather than a customer. The icing on the cake was the hair in the eggs. She shrugged when I showed it to her. She didn't charge for that I have to give her that. I asked if she was having a bad day, she acknowledged that she was and was apologetic. Customer service trumps quality of your food. If you can't handle the pressure and serve with a smile, then I don't think you'll go far in any hospitality industry. 3.5 overall spot. Respectable and good shawarma. Great friendly service. Ranges from $13-17 for wraps dependent on your protein choice. They also have a breakfast menu here and lots of different platters you can get. Good amount of seating that becomes semi restaurant like. The shawarma itself was ok - ... flavour to chicken texture and juiciness /enough char as well. Weighed the medium and large shawarma at home and the large didn't have that much more weight/chicken compared to medium though (20ish grams) difference for the additional $2) - that was a tad disappointing. One of the best authentic Lebanese food in the city. We loved the food and presentation they serve it. Quality of the food is top notch. Staffs are very kind, Samar was best and owner Bilal is very courteous. Place is very clean with good environment, perfect for families and ... friends.
