We ordered spicy miso ramen and miso ramen. Deluxe version includes half egg, minced pork chashu, seaweed and corn. The soup based is a bit underwhelming but when I add some soya sauce, it tastes better. Chashu is not really typical Japanese type. The grilled miso cod fish is one ... of the best I have tried. It tastes quite similar to the famous Nobu Japanese restaurant version. The grilled salmon with teriyaki sauce is very good too. Spicy bbq chicken is savoury. Kinjo Sushi is a hidden gem that serves up some of the best sushi in the area. While the restaurant itself is unassuming from the outside, the quality of the food is anything but. I was particularly impressed by their mango roll - the flavors were perfectly balanced, with the ... sweetness of the mango complementing the freshness of the fish beautifully. It's easily one of the best mango rolls I've ever had. But the real surprise for me was their fried chicken. At only $1.50 per piece, I wasn't expecting much. However, these were no ordinary chicken nuggets. The pieces were massive, almost the size of a chicken tender, and cooked to crispy perfection. The meat was incredibly juicy and flavorful, making this an absolute steal of a deal. What I appreciated most about Kinjo, though, was their considerate customer service. They texted me as soon as my order was ready, which was a nice touch that showed they value their takeout customers. Kate, our server was amazing! 👏 She was so attentive and friendly. She is an excellent listener and honestly cares about her guests. Chloe was so friendly at the door and truly made us feel so welcome upon entering at the front door. The food came out promptly and tasted excellent! ... The atmosphere is quite lively and the booths are great for people to sit at together. Parking can be a little tight right at the restaurant but there is plenty of parking near the Chapters. Their Inari, Tamago, and specially shrimp sushi were great. They had an offer on their donut fries and ice cream, and they were delicious. The service was kind of slow, and we were struggling to find someone to bring our check for us. And finally, the prices were acceptable.

Had a fund dinner with some clients here. First time at a Kinjo but the quality seems consistent and what I would expect. The food came quickly and was very filling at reasonable prices all around.
