Gad to make a quick trip to Calgary from Red Deer, and wanted to try a new to me dedicated gluten free restaurant while there. After seeing the menu and photos online, I had to try this place. Did not disappoint!!! Ordered the Charleswood (garlic fingers) with pesto dip - AMAZING! I ... have celiac and I am from the east coast, I was floored at how incredible these garlic fingers are. The pesto is out of this world. I will 1000% get them next time I’m in Calgary! We also got the Bowness pizza. Absolutely delicious, but will try another one next time! Fantastic customer service. I ordered through skip the dishes, and on my first order the cake was missing. When I called the restaurant the lady working quickly understood the issue and went about fixing it. They even gifted me a second cake on my repeat order as an apology! Really great pizza / dinner option for dietary restrictions. I personally don’t have any restrictions and the gluten free crust didn’t bother me at all! My dinner partner has dairy and gluten restrictions, and there were so many options, which was nice. Ingredients were really fresh and many veggie picks ... made it hard to choose. Would like to see more variety in the meat options on the menu and seating in the winter is a little cramped. They only have a few tables inside. Read more
