Sunshine Pizza - Calgary, Alberta

Ordered a large pie by phone for pickup, was told about 20/25 min. Got there and it was ready and waiting! Was very glad on my voice as it was delicious! Crust was still crisp and wasn’t soggy. Will repeat *also got a few sodas included for picking up! TY CDDP!

I’ve ordered from this location multiple times with no issues but tonight I received some very disappointing service. I placed an order for delivery at 11PM and was quoted 45-50 minutes for the delivery, which is a standard delivery time and not an issue. However, by 12:30 I still had not received ... my pizza. I’d called the restaurant twice to ask when my order would arrive, and was told on the phone the driver is outside my house and to come outside. I step onto my front steps and there is no driver in sight, so I ask them to cancel my order. 10 minutes later I get a call from the driver asking me to confirm my address, to which I again state I’d like to cancel my order due to the wait time. To which the call disconnects. By this point Ive gone and picked up dinner elsewhere when I receive a call from the restaurant apologizing for the issues, and that the driver input my address incorrectly. As a sign of good faith they offer to deliver my pizza free of charge, which I appreciated. However, I’m now inside my home and open up this monstrosity which truly is the icing on the cake of an incredibly poor experience. I would have rather them not deliver anything than what is sitting on my kitchen counter currently. I’d like to think this was a one off situation but it was a poor enough experience to warrant me never willingly spending my money on their pizzas again. Again, I appreciate the offer to give me my order for free, but the state this pizza is in is incredibly disappointing. Read more

Used to live in Calgary about 10 years ago, this place was called Sunshine Pizza and I kid you not it is the best pizza you’ll ever have. I live in BC now and I still think about this place fairly often. I know it’s under new management now after ... reading the rest of the reviews but I still believe that they have the best pizza ever (it looks amazing in all of these review pictures), love this place so much and I will definitely be going here again the next time I go to calgary. so nostalgic Read more

Whenever traveling for work - I enjoy trying out local pizza spots. While called Chicago Deep Dish Pizza - the pizza more closely resembled a very thick Detroit Style pizza. That being said it was absolutely delicious and in my opinion very reasonably priced. Will happily get again if my ... travels ever bring me back to Calgary. Read more

I recently had their half Punjabi and half Hawaiian pizza and I am awestruck as it is one of the best pizzas I have ever had in Canada. The toppings were generous and so was the cheese.
