**Atmosphere** SS106 Aperitivo is just like being back in Italy down il Corso. The decor and the patio, with its Italian decor and umbrellas, create a cozy and authentic ambiance. Though the place isn’t very big, it mirrors the charm of a typical Italian bar. **Food** The food is as close to authentic ... Italian as it gets. I had the carbonara, pizza margherita, and calamari. The carbonara was the best I've had in Calgary, the pizza sauce was flavorful without being too garlicky, and the calamari were lightly breaded and very tasty. The prices are very affordable, with appetizers ranging from $12 to $16. The portion sizes are good for the price. **Service** The service was excellent. Our appetizers came out in 7 minutes and the main courses in 17 minutes. Wow, this place was awesome! I love that most of the patrons were speaking Italian. We got there just as a World Cup game ended, so it was FESTIVE! The service was amazing - so friendly and genuine. I booked a reservation here for a group of 13 and we cannot say enough good things. The service was impeccable. The staff were insanely friendly, the food was amazing and they were accommodating to allergies. I’m so glad I booked at Aperitivo and highly recommend.

We booked a table on Wed at this locally operated Italian place in North East part of the town. The place was full house with an in house customer appreciation dinner event, all other table had same set dinner and the place is full of conversations. We order appetizer and a ... pasta dish. I believe due to the full house event, we have to wait for sometime and probably due to the place is so loud that the server got the wrong order and give me the wrong pasta. She offer to exchange, but I do not want to watse food so I accept the wrong pasta dish. I am quite surprised that the place did not offer any other thing to compensate for taking the wrong order. Anyway, the pasta is cooked Al Dente, and the source is great even it was not what I originally ordered. I will give the place another try to continue supporting local business. Read more
