Roma’s Pizzeria - Calgary, Alberta

A friend recommended this place. We tried it the 1st time and we loved it!! The owner is super generous too, he gave extra food as we picked our orders. We will definitely be coming back again. Not for the free extra food but for the nice food!!

I recently had a spinach and feta slice of pizza from Roma’s and it was a truly disappointing experience. The crust tasted like it was made from old dough, lacking any freshness. The toppings were bland and did nothing to mask the subpar base. Overall, it felt like I was eating a leftover ... slice that had been sitting around for far too long. OMG this place is an absolute gem. I just told the owner that I came all the way from Airdrie just to have an slice of the Beef Donair pizza. Her joy was so huge to hear that! If you love pizza, you must try this place. I brought my husband here today because he loves pizza! This place is such a gem! We waited 8 mins to get freshly made pizza slices and it was well worth the wait. Their donair pizza is SO good and we ... also got to try the brand new “sweet mushroom” pizza which was also super delicious. Their crust is like naan bread texture but just so good -can’t explain in words exactly haha, you just have to try them! The owner was super sweet too! I went for a casual slice and I went out fascinated, very well done pizza with nice ingredients, the dough is light and crunchy. They have a taste that makes the difference between other types of pizza. I absolutely recommend Roma’s and the attention is welcoming and friendly so 10/10 ... experience! Read more
