PZA Parlour - Calgary, Alberta

Food was good. We had four different kinds of pizza including a gluten free one. Our server was knowledgeable about gluten free ingredients which was appreciated, unfortunately they lacked a sense of urgency and we waited a lot. Disappointing because we really enjoyed the food and the patio.

Wow, not sure if new ownership, but really disappointed with pza tonight. We’ve been pretty loyal customers for years and told many about PZA. Tonight it’s a different story. $80 plus tip for two pizzas means only makes sense when the pizza is at least above average. These were underdone and were so ... floppy. This is by far our most favourite location in the SW for pizza as it has a great selection and also vegan options (for those who have milk, egg allergies or dietary restrictions). The crust is thin and crunchy (not a dry crunch), the sauce is delicious and the toppings are ... always fresh. Make sure you check this place out. PS. Check them out when the live music is playing! Ordered Uno and Undici pizzas, each 11". Unlike the menu price, our server informed us the Uno was $13 for 11" when we went. That's such a great price though I'm not sure if it's the lunch price as we were there for lunch on a weekday. We also ordered ... two Pepsis that were refilled from small, glass, wine(?) pitchers more than once (free refills). We were both surprised to see our server carry the pitchers out, and to borrow my fiance's words, "it's very novel." Quite a nice touch. There were only two other tables being served so we got our food promptly. We were asked if we wanted our Calamari served as a starter or with the rest of the food. Always nice to be asked. The atmosphere feels like a semi uppety bistro, lots of natural light and white. There aren't any booths and the interior design is like 90s/early 2k franchise restaurants, because it's a sports bar so there's a random motorbike in the restaurant. Tbh, even though there's a big bar at the centre, it took me the motorcycle to realise it was a sports bar. It didn't feel like one in the least when we visited it for a weekday lunch. Great atmosphere, service was nice, and most importantly the food was great. It's reasonably priced too. We took leftovers home and they heat up fine in the oven though it's not as good as when it's made fluffy and fresh at the restaurant. The fried calamari was fresh tasting and delicious too. I haven't been in this neighbourhood long, but I'm happy to have found a good pizza place close by. Looking to use their delivery service next time as well. Read more

My wife and I had a nice meal here tonight. Service was good and the prices are quite reasonable. It has a nice atmosphere in the resteraunt but it was a little loud this evening but still very enjoyable. It was quite busy but still easy to find parking. My ... wife and I both ordered pizza which we enjoyed. This is a nice place for a date night. Read more
