Mercato West - Calgary, Alberta

Had dinner last Friday with family. They don't have high chairs for kids but are allowed to bring your own. Everything turned out good. Great wine, food and atmosphere. Server Bo was particularly helpful and pleasant. Will definitely be back.

Had a really nice quick lunch here. We had the vodka gnocchi and the steak sandwich which was outstanding. Would certainly order this again. We also finished with coffees and those were very good! We didn’t make a reservation for their restaurant. Well, that obviously didn’t quite work, so we ate at the Pizzevino side. *note to self - reservation is a must* The pizzevino side didn’t disappoint us at all! Sure, the menu is slightly different and it’s definitely more casual dining kind of ... feel. We had the calamari, linguine, classica parmigiana and bistecca steak sandwich. We loved every single dish we had! Service wise… okay. We came late, so they were rushing to close. I get it, so I’m not offended. They also have a little market for you to get food (earlier in the day). I highly recommend Mercato West (both sides). Update: we finally made reservation and had a wonderful meal at Mercato West. Service is impeccable!! Food cooked to perfection! Loved the experience here with incredible flavours and traditional dishes. Visit for a special night out !

Had a wonderful lunch today! The food was fabulous and the servers were cheerful! We will definitely come back again! They also have a great selection of foods to take home! Everything from pasta dishes, pizza (including pizza dough, deli meats, sauces and cheese)and desserts!
