Hanni's is a wonderful local restaurant. It offers a cozy family home atmosphere. The staff are friendly and fun. Their Garlic Cheese Bread is a MUST try, but do not sell yourself short. The service was great. I loved the garden salad. The pasta was good but the red sauce on the penne was not a favourite. Lots of people were ordering pizza and it looked good. Next time, I plan to try the pizza.

Our family loves this place! Although we live out of town, we try our best to have dinner there if we have errands to do in Calgary. The food is Italian inspired and better than most Italian inspired restaurants I've tried in the greater area. The service is really good, friendly and ... kid prepared! They'll have the kids favorites in the menu and ready really fast! Although they have a screen in there, the volume is down/none and they've even shut it down for us that one time we asked (displaying not kid friendly stuff!). What I love the most there is the small everyday European restaurant vibe. Quieter, we can actually hear each other talk, not a screaming Playlist! They offer wine by the carafe, just as in Europe. I can't believe I've lived near this hidden gem for so many years and only now have tried it. I am blown away with how amazing this pizza is. I live rite in the middle of some really great pizza shops, Bow tie, Howies , Bella Roma and Sophies although ... they all have there own twist and some really great pizza I would have to say Hannis takes it. Not only do they make a killer pizza, but they actually have some really great affordable deals/prices. This was my first time trying out this place on a whim for their pizza deal on the sign I keep driving by. My kiddos and I went in to order take out and the staff were very welcoming and sweet and we waited the whole time inside for a ... pick up order and enjoyed this cozy family restaurant vibe. It also intrigued me to want to come back for a meal because it looked like some really comforting dishes to try out on the menus and daily board. We will have to come for a dine in experience soon. There was also some really tasty looking pizza choices more complex than the plain pepperoni we tried out today that I can't wait to taste as well, of course we were all so happy with that today though!
