Garden of Italy - Calgary, Alberta

We were staying in a hotel close by and didn’t feel like driving anywhere so we looked up local restaurants and found Garden of Italy, we both ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken added and garlic toast the food came of hot and tasted really good, we had a couple ... waitresses looking after us both were friendly and taken good care of us. I recommend anyone in the area looking for a good meal not over priced and good portions to give them a try. Food was good but not the server. There were Two ladies who was taking care of table. Both were rude and unprofessional. One with the curly hair was the most rude. Whenever I asked her something she replied very rude. Not going there again.

Great experience overall. The food was delicious, service was outstanding, ambience was great. We got the garden chicken and garden penne, and both were excellent. Even the bread in the beginning was nice and warm. Highly recommend!

Update: was in Calgary again and staying in the same area. Loved how nice and piping hot the soup and coffee was as most other places are lukewarm. Food was very delicious and portion is good. Enjoyed the food very much. Didn't know what to expect since it was lone restaurant ... and decor wasn't what was expected. Food was enjoyable. Desserts were huge for the price. We expected something smaller based on the price so ordered 2 items. It was too much. Read more
