Amazing service and food. We had the set Father’s Day menu - salsiccia calabrese, aglio E olio pasta , ossobuco, and the bacio caramello for dessert. It is probably one of the best authentic Italian food we have had in Calgary. Highly recommend!

One of the best meals I've ever had! I loved the food - a Calabrese feast with many, many of my favorite foods. In addition to great food, the hosts - Franca and her husband - were warm and welcoming. The gorgeous artwork is of their family home, car, ... and more in Calabria. They even danced their way across the room to the music of the Italian musicians at one point in the evening. My favourite food? Could be the lamb chops, could be the entire charcuterie platter, could be the eggplant parmesana, could be the pasta, could be the sausage, the peppers, the dessert, the wine, or even the natural mineral water. Our experience at Franca’s for our son’s baptism reception was nothing short of exceptional. We put our trust in Franca for this event and she impressed us and our guests at every opportunity! Franca’s provided an authentic Italian menu and experience that made us feel like we were being cared for ... by family. The ambiance was perfect for our 40 person celebration, with a cozy yet elegant atmosphere that set the tone for a memorable gathering. The attention to detail in the decor and table settings added an extra touch of sophistication. Now, onto the food – it was outstanding! Each dish was not only beautifully presented but also simply delicious. Franca’s truly captures the essence of Italian cuisine, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the Pollo Tartufo and the homemade peach pastries! What a gem! I’ve now been twice. A family run establishment with a clear passion for excellence in food and service.
