Eddy’s Nest Restaurant & Pizza - Calgary, Alberta

Eddy has been making the best pizza in the city since I was a kid. Used to spend birthdays in his restaurant before he downsized to take-out only. Still our go-to pizza spot, he's figured out a magic combination on crust, sauce, and cheese that makes any pizza awesome.

While visiting Calgary i called just as they were closing and the lovely owner said he couldn’t leave me hungry and made me a pizza to pick up. Boy was he right....I did not go hungry! Amazing pizza. Thick and tasty dough, generous with the toppings, but not too big that it's work to eat. I can eat an entire Domino's large pizza if I put my mind to it, but I could only eat three large slices of an Eddy's Pizza (good thing cold pizza the ... next day is one of my favourite breakfasts). The prices are reasonable and even a little cheaper that you'd think because Eddy does not accept tips. The printed price is all you'll pay. Read more

As a creature of habit I keep coming back for the Uber cheesy lasagna or baked ravioli. I always get pick up as the owner has great specials.

Ordered pickup. House Special pizza and an order of hot wings. Delicious pizza! The crust is thick and crunchy. Toppings are generous and quality. The wings were properly cooked.
