Dillos Pizza - Calgary, Alberta

This place used to be a favourite but now they can’t seem to get a simple order right. Abysmal customer service combined with the quality of food going way down. I used to suggest this place to everyone now I would suggest you avoid it.

I recently visited dillo’s pizza and had a very disappointing experience. I bought a $4 slice of pizza that looked stale, but since I was really hungry, I decided to give it a try. When I asked the worker how long ago it was made, I was told it had ... been made just 30 minutes prior. This was clearly a lie as the slice was hard and unappetizing. For a place that charges $4 per slice, I expected much better quality. I hope they can improve their standards in the future, but based on my experience, I won't be returning. Not sure what happened with this place. Used to always order the stuffed crust pizza and it was great. Havent been for some time and wasn't feeling pizza. Decided to stop in and grab a large chicken shawarma wrap and it was the most disappointing $14 I have ever spent. ... The wrap was tiny and cold with barely any meat and all sauce. I've ordered at least ten times since February and it slowly went down hill.on average i spent around $90.00. My last order they made the wrong pizza and wings were not the best. And it took twice as long as promised. (Took hour and a half on a monday evening ... at 7:20). I phoned left a message for the owner. Never heard back. So two days later I called. He heard nothing about it. And did nothing about it. It's hit and miss with this place. Update. Owner called back a day later after I was in contact with him. He offered me a free pizza. I have given this place three tries before I would give a review and this place has been a disappointment. $14 for that small of a wrap and the worst part is that I came in early to grab the chicken, pizza and wrap. Everything was cold except for the ... warm pizza. I have never had any stomach issues until I found this place. I HIGHLY do not recommend to ever try this place. Read more
