Cibo Centre Street - Calgary, Alberta

Nothing exceptional - nothing was like WOW! I wish the waitress was a bit more attentive. We were out of water for a good 20 minutes. The pasta portions were smaller than I anticipated. Taste… acceptable. Price is reasonable. The atmosphere was decent. Parking was limited.

One of my favourite restaurants here in Calgary. You really can’t go wrong with a lot of their dishes but my favourite ones are definitely the Fruit De Mare Pasta and Wild Bacon Pizza. Both of them are super flavourful and never get boring throughout your meal. Their signature seafood ... pasta is hands down my favourite pasta in the city. This place is a must-try for any Italian food lovers in Calgary. You come to this place to appreciate the culinary art. The pizza is great, the seafood is to die for, and the dessert is heavenly! Not the same environment as 17 Avenue. Recently opened Cibo here on Center Street maybe about 2 months ago. I found the front staff seem to be disorganized. For example I was asking about items on the menu and drink menu our waitresses did not have a clue or could ... not answer my questions. Eventually everything was cleared up. Appetizers was good and clean tasting. To my palate some of the dish were under season. We order all their appetizer to try it out I would say the meatballs, prosciutto, and calamari are there best appetizers. At the end we wish we had better service we barely saw our waitress coming by clear our plates. Overall food-wise Four Star. Read more
