Spices East Indian Dining - Calgary, Alberta

Today was the first time I ate at Spices, and oh my was it delicious!! Everything was so fresh and bursting with favor! The staff were so prompt and gracious. Can't wait to go back!

People are nice. Weekend is very much rush, they told they will take an hour to serve a single dish which I think shiuld be sort. I’ve eaten here many times; it is that good. The food has been consistent and always flavourful. Two of us can eat here (sans alcohol) for $40-$50. We usually order Pakora or Samosa and follow with rice/naan and a couple of dishes. Most of the time some is taken home for a ... snack the next day. While staff seems to rotate through, whomever is there is friendly and polite. Decor is OK, but the place is clean and inviting; I’ve never not been able to get a seat. The staff are so amazing and friendly. I felt so welcome. And of course the food was over the top. Everything made fresh. Even Chef Jaspreet personally brought the food out. We felt so special.

Spices is a cozy and authentic Indian, Nepali restaurant. The chef makes delicious and spicy dishes with fresh ingredients. The chicken biryani and the momo were amazing.
