Abdulrahman is THE MAN... courteous with his smile while advising to feed 3 of us a beef broth soup, a mixed platter of Somali rice with Somali chicken, pasta, and chicken biryani... we also ordered some chicken samosas and beef samosas that were amazing... and of course, you can't NOT ... order the famous Somali bread... if your lucky you can get a banana to enjoy an ethnic Somali experience. Was visiting from Vancouver and noticed there was lots of African cuisine. Decided to give this one a shot. It had great service, great food with lots of flavor, flexible hours and reasonably priced! Please support small businesses!

Delicious home style food! Fresh and authentic, and generous portion sizes. I had a lamb plate which came with a starter soup, the option of rice or pasta, and a small salad. Meat was slow cooked to perfection and the entire dish was very satisfying. Hostess was very kind and ... polite, and was very helpful as I navigated the unfamiliar menu. I will certainly be returning soon! And I absolutely recommend this awesome place to anyone who is still new to African cuisine! Read more

I wanted to explore other cuisine and this was a good find. Enjoyed every bit of it. The platter I had was a mixture of beef, goat and chicken. Serving large enough for 3 -4 people. Very flavourful you won't be disappointed. I will go back again. The bbq chicken ... was amazing. Read more

We had the mashallah platter for 2. Was SO MUCH food, with salad and soup. The soup was unforgettable! There was goat, beef and chicken on the platter. Goat was a little too gamey for our liking but everything else was great
