Madras Cafe - Calgary, Alberta

This was by far the best place for South Indian and Chole Bhaturay I have had till date across the entire Western Canada. I recently visited with my family during my vacation and found this hidden gem. The food tasted as good as it looked. We ordered different types of ... Dosa and found them to be delicious. The Chole Bhaturay are worth cheating on every diet. At last we ordered sweet Lassi, I was amazed to see how thick and tasty it was. The place made me feel like a typical Madras cafe, staff was very polite and humble. We got extra Samber and Chatnee too. I would love to go back and hog on their other recipes. It was our first visit and we ordered 2 combos comes with Dosa, idly and vada.. it was fresh and delicious we liked it.. Definitely will visit again and again for south Indian food.

What a wonderful experience. We were happened to be in the city on vacation and we found this hidden jam to satisfy our taste buds for authentic dosa. Multiple varieties and top notch service. Would surely recommend this place and will be visiting again when next in Calgary

Have been to this restaurant lots of times the food is exceptional for sure. I love their South Indian menu it’s very simple and with lots of options to choose from. * Food wise this place is must try. * Quality is nice and fresh * Quantity is worth the price for sure. * ... Service can be better and more attentive. * Atmosphere is okay they can improve it to attract more customers and give them a nice experience.
