it was an utter disaster. The food took forever to arrive and was ice cold by the time it did. The butter chicken was bland and watery, the rice was undercooked and hard, and the samosas were a greasy, soggy mess. The portions were laughably small for the high prices they ... charge. We ordered takeout delivery with Sk*p and the Tandoori Platter was a disaster! Apparently it’s not freshly made and they reheat until it’s dry. The chicken breast was rock hard and uneatable. I've eaten at green chili before (dine in) and had a great experience. The curry and naan were delicious. However, when I ordered chicken biryani and chili chicken through uber eats, they were both disappointing to my family. The chili chicken had 7 hard pieces of chicken breast. Very tough to chew. ... Hardly had any spice or flavour. Biryani also hard chicken breast cubes. Rice was extremely soggy. Normally I love the yogurt, but this one was especially sour and watery. I have been visiting this Green Chili at least once a month for the last 4 years. They have always had consistently delicious butter chicken. The staff are always very kind and generous. I have tried other Green Chili locations throughout the city, but this one is the best. The food ... and service have always been consistently good. Amazing food and authentic flavours! chef and manager visited the table and was very much open to all kinds of feedback. Good ambience and great hospitality. I would recommend this restaurant in South Calgary for sure!
