Where is the bull!? Everything pretty much the same as the Okotoks place, however food wasn't as good as there, we ordered the OMGWTF and was more than enough for 4pax. Keep it going!
Beers were fine - nothing amazing but nothing terrible. You can find most of their core offerings across the province no problem in liquor stores. The addition of Big Sky BBQ was great - the bbq was fantastic. Picture attached is their Hungry man's platter for $25.99. Good portion size ... and was mighty delicious. 3 meats and 1 side - had the brisket, sausage, pulled pork, and coleslaw. They also have 4 different kinds of sauces available as well. Plenty of parking in the parking lot and surrounding area. Read more
Great job on the openings of the new collaboration between Big Rock Brewery and Big Sky BBQ. Had a couple of different Big Rock beers and a couple of Big Sky appetizers. Well done!
First time here and it was great! Food was SO GOOD and the prices were reasonable...especially these days. The beer & cider were very, very good. We're big brewery fans and this place did not disappoint. We also had brisket, ribs and sausage and loved them all. We will ... definitely be back! Thanks for the great food and friendly service! Decent beer rotation. I tried the white peaks steeped tea and it tasted like very watered down Nestea that you can get from the store. I was excited for big sky bbq in big rock since I’ve gone to the one by okotoks but felt disappointed with dried out ... brisket and the thinnest ribs ever. I didn’t think much of the ribs until my friend ordered them and got massively thick pieces compared to me. Our waitress was pretty lackluster. Constantly forgetting a things we ordered and forgetting people’s drink refills etc. Overall it sounds bad but their patio was huge and there was a lot of room and you didn’t feel crowded like you would at bars downtown and I believe that was its saving grace.
