Fergus & Bix Restaurant and Beer Market - Calgary, Alberta

My sister took my husband and I out for dinner for a little celebration. We wanted a place that had good food, relaxed and not too pricey. Fergus and Bix hit it out of the.park for a 10/10! I had the Sirloin Salad, my sis had a pizza and my hubby ... had the Halibut Fish and chips. We all raved about our choices! Also, not only were the dishes super tasty, they give you generous portions! Which has almost become a thing of the past in most restaurants! Oh yeah and it was 50% off your choice of wine!! Of course we HAD TO squeeze in dessert to top off our evening and decided on the flourless chocolate cake with salted caramel ice cream!! Sorry there isn't a picture! Hands down, one of my favorite places to go for a casual dinner. I believe they have one of the best ceasers served in yyc!!! Fantastic service! Amazing food!!!!! A fabulous breakfast location! The food came out hot and it was absolutely delicious. I wish we had this restaurant in Edmonton. Will definitely eat here again when we are back in Calgary!

We visited here for the first time, on Saturday evening. The place was busy and loud, but the food and service were good. We shared an appetizer and each had separate mains. The dishes came without a long wait. They were well prepared and delicious. Our server was attentive, but ... not annoyingly so. We came here for lunch today with family celebrating a Birthday. We were seated right away. We had a great time trying out a couple beers during lunch. I had a Wildrose Cherry Porter which just came out as one of their Charity beers. It’s a seasonal that I ... aim to drink at least once a year, and usually hits the mark. This one was great. Malty without being overly sweet, balanced hop profile, background note of black cherries. I myself was told to try the egg rolls entree by my girlfriend, and they were great. Crunchy, meaty and savoury. The dip they came with on point. I had a few bites of the salad also and it seemed fresh and interesting. I wont review the dishes my family ate, but they were happy!
