My husband went in and grabbed the 7 piece cod and fries meal. He asked for the lemon to be on the side because I can't stand lemon on my fish. They said no problem and when he got home every piece of fish was touching lemon. That just ruined ... my meal instantly. I'm sure if the lemon wasn't on it, it would have been very tasty. I went in for ayce fish and chips. When I went Inside there's a funky smell. Though the food came out really fast. I also ordered to go for work. And for $30 salmon and 2 sides of vegies.. I could make it myself.. the amount is ridiculous! I wouldn't go back thats ... for sure. The service, the waitress was in the kitchen the whole time. The pop was terrible...bitter brown water. The machine has not been brixxed in far too long. The fish was good and piping hot. Fries also good. I was not offered a drink refill until I was ready to leave...plates empy and stacked, hat on my head. And it is ridiculous that a ... seafood place does not offer cocktail sauce. Fail. Read more

Service and food quality have definitely gone downhill since the old Joey's Only days. Fish is thin, actually more batter than fish. Fries are not endless. The scampy shrimp was rubbery and not flavored well.

I used to work at Joeys Only on 52nd st when it used to be open in trans canada plaza and I have never served calamari like this to a customer. The portion size is so small it's sad for $12.50, please just drive down the street a bit more ... and go to olive garden and spend a few more dollars on a better quality and quantity calamari for $16.69.
