A truly authentic Mexican restaurant that serves fresh tacos, burritos, menudo, etc but my favourite so far is barbacoa tacos.

Can't beat this place for tacos! Their burrito was ok, but the Tacos are the best I've had in Calgary, right up there with Tacos Mexico. I was optimistic about the authentic seeming menu and reputation. I had ordered a take-out burrito a couple weeks prior that was fairly good. Decided to try the eat-in experience. Staff and atmosphere was less than friendly. Got the enchiladas, not terrible but pretty bland, very skimpy on the sauce. I could ... tell that the meat was good quality but it came out lukewarm-cold despite being made on the spot, definitely lacking spice and flavor. The rice and beans weren't bad but didn't make up for the disappointing, cold enchiladas. 3 stars for food because the burrito from the previous experience, but I'd give the enchiladas 2 stars. Amazing tacos. I tried chorizo, pork, barbacoa and chicken, and they were all amazing. We ordered and then enjoyed the first round so much we needed to order seconds. I have nothing negative to say about our experience here, and I will definitely be going back!

A Latino friend of my mine brought me here. This store offers a variety of foods from all over South America. The stores operated be these adorable little Latino aunties.
