A Pizza Plus - Calgary, Alberta

I ordered a large meat pizza and a gluten-free Hawaiian pizza to go. I picked it up and took it home and found out that the meat pizza was raw in the middle (my wife said rhe gluten free pizza was amazing) I called the store to let them know ... and they told me to cover it with tin foil and put it in the oven to cook it some more. After spending $50 for two pizzas and tipping on top of that, which I'm not too sure why I would since there's no actual service, I asked them if they could deliver me a new one because I shouldn't have to cook my own meal since that's why I ordered takeout. They said I could bring it back and get a new one but we are sitting down with the family and asked if it could be delivered and the owner(I'm assuming owner but could be wrong ) said 'well that will take me more than an hour'. He also said he cooked over 300 pizzas today and never had an issue and I said well this one is an issue and I don't know what to say about the other 300 pizzas. I then just asked for a credit for the next time so that he could avoid having to bring a new one and he said well he needed the pizza back and agreed to deliver a new one. When he arrived, he showed up with a medium pizza and not a large that I ordered, I showed him the raw pizza and he said that's just my opinion but as you can see in the picture it's actually raw. Not too sure why he would think I would lie, because all I wanted was a pizza for my family. Got in the house and the second pizza was raw in the middle again. ---See second picture. This pizza tastes like dessert, it's incredible. Perfectly crispy, perfectly cooked. The pizza was an explosion of flavor, with each bite delivering a symphony of perfectly melded toppings atop a crisp yet pillowy crust. The staff are so sweet too considering how busy they are.

Really awesome pizza I just came by random on my way back to Vancouver didn’t expect you could get that awesome pizza just by random searching, delicious, clean place and the guy was friendly and nice, will come back next time Highly recommended.

Our pizza was burnt (as shown in my photos) but the staff said this is 'how they make their pizza' and were not interested in reaching any type of resolution. Terrible customer service. I won't be rolling the dice on this place again. There are many other nearby pizza joints that ... can make a *consistently* good pie, and will appreciate my business. Read more

The name of the store does it absolute justice! I am beyond thrilled that I found this spot tonight. From the time I called the store and spoke to them on the phone I knew it was going to be an amazing experience! Big shout out to Al and George! They are ... beyond gentlemen and scholars at their craft. The passion they have really translates into the food they make because the pizza pie was top notch! Love the sauce and the super generous amount of toppings they use! Price is super reasonable and 100% worth it! Best pizza spot in Calgary! Read more
