Ikea - Calgary, Alberta

This is a great store. Had a great breakfast. So be prepared to spend a couple of hours here. Got some great office furniture. Great atmosphere. Some nice show rooms for some great ideas. Had ice cream cone and hot dog. Great job being done by staff.

This is a second home for us. My daughter loves playing in SMALLAND area while I can go shopping with my wife. Note: Smalland gets closed by 5 PM and your kinds can stay for one hour during weekdays and 45 min on weekends and you have to be at ... the store. All the person who works in smalland are very nice and kind. Each day they also have a theme for art and craft category. I have found many items which are very good, robust and cheap(in price) when compared to wallmart or other places. THEY ARE STILL SELLING PLATES, SMALL PLATES, BOWL, SMALL BOWL, DEEP BOWL AT 99 CENTS and SERVING BOWL AT 1.99 $ which is unbeatable compared to any shop. They are selling 6 drinking water at 2.99 and 6.99$ which are also good deal. We also love eating at their restraurant which is cheap and affortable. This gigantic, home furnishing and decorative, store is a place where you can find anything and everything that you need for your home, except groceries and clothing. There are myriads of plants, pots, photo frames, lightings, utensils and kitchen items, carpets, quilts, duvets, pillows and covers, bedsheets, appliances, and an unending ... possibility of choosing from the displayed setup of furniture and décor of different parts of your home. After living for 24 years in Toronto, recently my wife, son, and I have migrated to Calgary, and we were glad to see the immense Ikea store with the same size and layout, here. We had exhilarating experience at the Sweden restaurant on the upper level and, also, the café on the main floor. The veggie balls and other vegetarian items at the Sweden eatery were, simply, delicious. Also, the coffee and/or frozen yogurt cones and other snacks, served at unbelievably low prices in the cafeteria, is very popular among the Ikea visitors. We bought a lot of items for our home and are extremely happy and satisfied with the contemporary designs, quality and durability. Even if you do not intend to do any shopping, it is worth visiting the mammoth store. It will, definitely, fill your mind with knowledge and new ideas of latest home furnishing items and exaltation. Navigating the store can be overwhelming due to its size, but helpful signage and staff assistance is available. The warehouse section facilitates convenient self-service, although wait times at the checkout can occasionally be long, during peak hours. However, efficient assembly instructions and affordable delivery options mitigate some of these obstacles. Overall, IKEA Calgary offers a diverse selection of well-designed products at competitive prices, making it a go-to destination for furnishing homes on a budget. IKEA is so much fun! Always something for everyone but be sure to follow the arrows so you don’t mess up the flow. Very busy on weekends. We always start with the cafeteria breakfast which is simply more nostalgic than it is delicious ha ha! Can’t complain for ... $4 though 😊 Read more
