In town for Stampede and wanted some Ukrainian food, just found this place on google and decided to try it out. The food is EXCELLENT, takes me right back to my childhood ❤️. Got some cabbage rolls and pirogies from the farmers market and they both sucked. No sauce and the cabbage was so tough it was inedible, the pirogies were so salty. Disappointed. Not worth the price

Had a cabbage roll, kovbasa and perogies. Food was good, exactly how I remember it when I tried as a kid. Nearly $20 with a Coke but worth it when you're feeling it. We got these at the farmers market on Saturday. Very disappointed in the quality of the vegetarian cabbage rolls. I followed the directions. There was very little sauce in them to begin with. Then, after cooking for over 2.5 hours, the cabbage was still tough and very unpleasant. The vegetables ... were obviously canned which looked and tasted repulsive. Not only were they bland but to not even have fresh vegetables? It would not have costed her more to use fresher vegetables. The rice tasted and seemed as though it was instant rice. I am so disappointed. I haven't been able to make them myself because of arthritis but I think I will just take the pain and make them because I know they will taste good. Do better. A Ukrainian boy in town from Winnipeg had to check this place out. Was good. Got the pierogies and cabbage roll and sausage. Love the fried onions. Food was hot and fresh. All I could ask for.
