Very small restaurant, older style, with few tables to sit. Our waitress was little weird in a way, very unique experience after all. Food was okay, nothing mind blowing, but not bad as well, just average tasting food, could be better could be worse. I think price justifies quality. We picked this restaurant based on others reviews as we traveled through on our way to BC. This little spot was hopping when we arrived at 6pm on a Sunday. Only about 7 tables and all except for reserved ones taken. A non stop stream of people coming ... in to pick up orders and the phone constantly ringing I took as a good sign. The one employee was very over run but made sure to let us know we wouldn’t be forgotten. We placed our orders. We had the lasagna and special pizza. I forgot to grab pictures but both were excellent. The lasagna simple sauce baked with crispy cheese. The pizza was a meal in itself. With a generous amount of toppings. Had such a wonderful dinner here tonight! I had the steak sandwich, I upcharged to the ceasar salad from a green salad. My sister got a small ceasar salad as well along with a small pepperoni pizza. Everything was delicious! Nice creamy homemade ceasar dressing, I could taste anchovy! Yum! ... My steak was delicious and I appreciate the beans for the veggie. The stuffed potato was crisp on top, hot and fluffy on the inside. Just so dang tasty! We’ve been coming here since we were young, quite often do takeout orders as well. Did the food taste as good as it looked in these photos? You bet it did. It was my first time trying Palermo’s after growing up in this community for years, and I wish I had done it sooner! Everything was hot, fresh, and tasted delicious. The pizzas were the ... highlight of the night. Something to note: the chicken wings looked a little dissapointing at first since the sauce looked drizzled instead of coated, but it ended up tasting great. Thanks Palermo’s for the wonderful food! I went in and had fettuccine Papalina with garlic toast, not knowing it was pasta Monday. It was on for $8.95 what a deal I also got the Palermo special pizza, It was fantastic. The server was very friendly it was just a great atmosphere small restaurant with great home ... cooked food. Read more
