I was intrigued by this place due to their huge assortment of different savoury and sweet pies on display at the Calgary Farmers Market. The ladies working behind the counter were very nice and offered my boyfriend and I some samples of their pie. I tried the donair, chicken pot ... pie and shepards pie. All super delicious but my favourite was the chicken pot pie. Got a 4" one to go for $4.50 for lunch the next day and I regret not picking up a few others! Their sweet pies looked delicious as well. Absolutely amazing variety and taste. Very kind and courteous staff aswell. Simon, the owner, still works selling pies and talking with customers at the Calgary farmers market. You can tell his care and professionalism has trickled down into the whole business. If you’re visiting Calgary they are a must visit!
These guys have the best meat pies & soups - hands down. Everything I've tried there is top notch (and they're always super generous with the samples). NOTE - this location doesn't have the soups, but the Crossroad location does.
I always enjoying going to the market and getting a pie from here, both the savory and the sweet pies are delicious and they have a wide range to choose from. Never have had a bad experience visiting them and they are more than happy to offer samples to help ... you find the pie you're looking for. Read more

Good food but so much extra waste with the boxes they give you. Today at the farmers market I asked for no box or bag from the lady helping me as I brought my own. An older worker (maybe the owner) came over and started bagging when he saw her ... not giving me a bag. I tried to stop him but he ended up putting my order into 3 large paper bags with only 2 mini pies per bag and the rest in a box. I had to unpackaged and recycle everything before I left the farmers market. I ended up putting the pies easily into 1 reusable bag I had brought myself. More garbage than food was involved in the transaction but the time it was over. Read more
