LeVilla Chophouse West - Calgary, Alberta

Went here with friends, went for a late dinner around 8pm as we all had to have the kids in bed. We ordered a variety of food off the menu, steaks, meatball spaghetti, seafood and appetizers. I got the fillet with the peppercorn sauce. The steak was cooked well and ... juicy. Wife choose the salmon and found it to be excellent. The service was a little lacking. Our drinks were forgotten and when they were bought out they were not good. Order for my friends was also messed up as they put mushroom sauce on the steak even though he had mentioned allergy to it. Good food, steaks were juicy and delicious. Meatballs were my favourite. Service was decent but could be better, esp since they have a gratuity added on for group of 8. Location is nice and convenient to get too. Over all a decent atmosphere.

A really good place for a family dinner or date, food was good, service as well. The only thing has changed is the main course- duck, it’s not as good as it used to be, first was served overcooked and when was sent back, second one was a little better, but ... way too far from what it used to be. I guess lot has changed since we have been there few years ago. Still suggest this place, we enjoyed it, and will be back again soon. Read more

Excellent food, excellent service, I have been to this restaurant maybe 5 times now and I have never been disappointed. I have been during both winter and summer and somehow this restaurant keeps the same elegant and cozy vibe throughout seasons. Oh! One thing, the chocolate lava cake is the best in ... town, do not leave the restaurant without having it 🤤. It’s made on the spot, served with ice cream and berries. ESPECTACULAR. Very recommended. Levilla is a great special occasion restaurant. George was a great server, very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, portions generous, and beautifully plated. Their covered patio is bright and welcoming with a fireplace, but it can get noisy when packed. Still worth going if that doesn't bother you.
