It was an amaazzzing lunchspot when life was full and working downtown pre-2020. With the Eue Claire Mall closing most likely they are gone. I ordered the ham and cheese and was pleasantly surprised that they added veggies and condiments to it (mayo and mustard) and it was amazing. Best I’ve had! Do yourself a favour and skip the subway and go here instead!

Tucked into a bread-y little corner of the offbeat Eau Claire Market, Grandma’s Garden serves a satisfying selection of soups, sandwiches, and more. Staff were friendly and helpful when ... preparing my sandwich. The woman working the grill made our sandwiches with care and expertise, unlike at the Subway next door. Amazing sandwich place. Absolutely massive portions, really reasonable pricing as well. They have very polite, nice staff! 10/10 hidden gem in Calgary. Just look at the sheer GIRTH of our meal!

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! Its so delicious that i forgot to take a photo until i had only half a sandwich left. Fries are fresh and wonderfully seasoned.
