I’m not a baker, but a regular at this vendor, I believe a muffin should be fully “baked” before purchase ? The “muffin” known as a “loafer” was larger before? The previous owner knew her stuff and her customers.

Title: Mixed Experience at Cookies by George, Chinook Mall I have been a loyal customer of Cookies by George at Chinook Mall for the past two years, enjoying the delightful treats and generally positive atmosphere. However, my recent encounter with the owner has left me compelled to share my experience. A few ... days ago, the owner was working at the cafe, and I, as usual, ordered a Cafe Latte. To my surprise, he insisted there's no such thing as a Cafe Latte, claiming it's either coffee or latte. Despite my attempt to clarify by describing it as coffee with milk and foam, he remained adamant. Expressing my two-year-long positive history with the staff, I was taken aback when he suggested I might be confusing their cafe with another, like I was lying. His aggressive tone and lack of politeness were unsettling. In an unfortunate turn, he even prepared a black coffee instead of the requested Cafe Latte. After explaining once again, he reluctantly made the correct order. The whole exchange left me disappointed and offended, especially when he questioned my loyalty as a customer. I've always had pleasant experiences with the regular staff, and it's disheartening to see such behavior from the owner. I was urged by their team to share my thoughts since their overall Google rating isn't stellar. While the staff has consistently provided excellent service, the owner's attitude raises concerns about the overall customer experience at this establishment. In the spirit of constructive feedback, I hope the owner takes this opportunity to improve his customer service skills. A warm and respectful atmosphere is crucial in a cafe, and it's disappointing when the owner falls short of these expectations. I just bought some cookies, and Abby is the BEST SALESPERSON EVER!! She helped me through the whole process and helped me make my decision on the cookie. And the cookie itself was AMAZING!!!! Thank you so much Abby, definitely coming back

I think a lot of people downplay the store a lot. Chinook tends to be one of the busiest malls in Calgary and their service has been nothing less that 10/10. Although certain cookies can sell out very quickly, they keep up with their standards and recipes, without sacrificing the ... taste or service.
