The owner was sweet to us and gave us our drinks for free once he realised that we couldn't pay due to the lack of debit cards on us and they don't accept credit cards. I recently visited Cafffe Beano for the first time and had a great experience. I ordered a Latte, and it was absolutely fantastic. I always like trying new cafes and this is a great little spot. Delicious food and hot chocolate, with lots of seating and great service.

Love coming here while working in Calgary's Beltline areas of Connaught and/or Victoria Park. The service is always quick, the staff are kind and professional, and the decor is great (check out the photos); they have a community bulletin board and they feature some beautiful artwork done by super cool ... and mostly local artists. Came for the hot chocolate as boasted as one of the better spots for a clean, no frills and authentic melted chocolate type of drink. It was exactly that definition and great to find no weird after taste. The hot chocolate goes from $5.50-5.75. you can also bring your own ... mugs here to be more environmental. Lots of seats here but gets rather busy. They also serve food items such as baked goods or bagels. Lots of drink variety here. The busyness represents the customer loyalty they do have. Read more
